Maxwell Transue is a record producer, DJ, drummer, and sound designer specializing in making immersive, thematic music and sound by weaving together layers of organic and synthetic elements, complex rhythms, and atmospheric textures. His work is featured internationally in films, live theater, dance works, commercial content, and music artist recordings, winning several awards for original scores including First Place and Audience Choice awards at international dance film festivals. Maxwell's music and sound work is currently being utilized in works by dance companies BE MOVING and Kaufman School of Dance, and by choreographers and filmmakers Bret Easterling, Robert Bruce Hope, The Kusanagi Sisters, Anindo Marshall, Jermaine Spivey, and Spenser Theberge. Maxwell performs, and produces house music and electronic dance music under the artist moniker, Jurassic Spine, and has performed alongside major artists such as Slow Magic, Low Leaf, and Monster Rally.
